| AMERICAN RIVER, NORTH FORK | From Auburn, on Hwy I-80, go NE, 2 miles to Auburn-Foresthill Road. Turn east, go 18 miles to Foresthill. Continue on Forest Hill-Soda Springs Road, go 12 miles to Forest Road 66. [1] Turn left, go 3 miles to Italian Bar trailhead. [2] Go 3 miles beyond Road 66, turn left at Mumford Bar trailhead. [3] Go 5 miles beyond Mumford Bar turnoff to Beacroft trailhead. Access upper reaches from Soda Springs Road south of Hwy I-80. Most trails 3-4 miles and drop about 2,000 ft. |

| ANGELS CREEK | Two access sites: [1] In Angels Camp, at junction Hwy’s 4-49, highway bridges cross creek. [2] Take Hwy 4 northeast 8 miles to Murphys. Turn west on Main St., go 0.5 miles to Algiers St., at Murphys Hotel. Turn south, go short block to creek/park. |
| ANTELOPE CREEK | From Weed, on Hwy I-5, take Hwy 97 NE, go 27 miles to Bray-Tennant turnoff. Turn south, go 5 miles to Y. Bear right on Tennant Road, go 6 miles to stream. |
| ANTELOPE CREEK, NORTH FORK | From junction Hwy’s 36-99, 3 miles east of Red Bluff, take Hwy 36 NE, go 19 miles to Paynes Creek. Continue 6 miles beyond Paynes Creek to Ponderosa Way at “Sky Ranch”. Turn south, go 12 miles to slab crossing on creek. |
| ASH CREEK | From Adin, on Hwy 299, turn southeast on Ash Valley Road at sign “Madeline 32”, go 8 miles to Ash Creek Campground, continue 0.5 miles to creek. |
| BAILEY CREEK | From Voila, on Hwy 44, take Brokeoff Meadows Road SE (go past Lassen Christian Camp): [1] Where pavement ends bear left, go 200 yards to stream. [2] Follow main gravel road, 4 miles to Brokeoff Meadows. |
| BAKER CREEK | From north end of Big Pine on Hwy 395 take Baker Creek Road, go 1 mile to county campground near creek. |
| BASIN CREEK | From Sonora, at junction Hwy’s 49-108, go east 4 miles to Tuolumne Road (Road E 17). Turn southeast, go 6.8 miles to Tuolumne City. Go north onto Carter St. for 0.3 miles, then east on Buchanan Road (at bridge continue straight onto Cottonwood Road) for 4.8 miles. Turn north on, gravel road, to creek access at campground. |
| BATTLE CREEK | From junction Hwy’s 36-99, 3 miles east of Red Bluff, take
Hwy 36 NE, go 19 miles to Paynes Creek. Continue 16 miles beyond Paynes
Creek to “A” Line Road. [1] Walk down dirt road on left to creek. [2] Go 2.5 miles farther to Battle Creek Campground. Turn south 100 yards east of Hwy 36 bridge, go 100 yds to creek. |
| BEAN CREEK | From Coulterville, at junction Hwy’s 49-132, take Greeley Hill Road east (Road J-20), go 6.3 miles At Greeley Hill Market, turn south on Holtzel Road, go 4 miles to Dogtown Road. Turn northeast, go 4 miles to Red Cloud Ranch. |
| BEAR CREEK | From McCloud, on Hwy 89: [1] Go SE 23 miles (road crosses creek at large dip), dirt road on R follows creek 0.5 miles upstream. [2] Go 1 mile farther on Hwy 89 to Pondosa turnoff. Turn north, go 0.5 miles to creek. |
| BEARSKIN CREEK | From Fresno, on Hwy 99, take Hwy 180, go east 52 miles to entrance to Kings Canyon National Park, continue 1.7 miles to fork at Stop (Generals Highway). Turn east, go 3.5 miles to Quail Flat Road. Turn north, go 5 miles to Bearskin Creek turnoff and Horseshoe Flats campground (Tenmile Creek). Turn west, go 0.5 miles to Bearskin Creek. |
| BEAVER CREEK | Two access sites: From Arnold, on Hwy 4, go east 3.5 miles
to Calaveras Big Trees State Park. [1] Big Trees: enter park, take south Grove Road 8 miles, cross North Fork Stanislaus River to stream, road crosses creek near confluence with Big Trees Creek just before the South Grove parking area. [2] Sourgrass: go east 1.5 miles, beyond Big Trees, on Hwy 4 to Dorrington. Turn southeast on Sourgrass-Boards Crossing Road (USFS Road 5N02), go 6 miles to North Fork Stanislaus River crossing, then 4 miles to junction with USFS Road 6N08 at Beaver Creek. Turn north, go 0.2 miles to Cow Camp on creek. |
| BIG CREEK (Fish Camp) | From Oakhurst, on Hwy 41, go north 15 miles to Fish Camp. Go past town 0.7 miles to Summerdale Campground on stream. |
| BIG CREEK (Kings) | From Fresno, on Hwy 99, go 1 mile north of Hwy 180 to Belmont Ave. Turn east, go 20 miles to Trimmer Springs Road. Turn northeast and go 21 miles to Trimmer. Turn east, go 7 miles (continue around Pine Flat Lake) to USFS Route 9. Turn north, road follows creek for 5 miles, then goes over hill, 4 miles to upper creek. Road. Then follows creek to Blitz Mill. |
| BIG CREEK (Upper) | From Oakhurst, on Hwy 41, go north 14.5 miles toward Fish Camp. Turn east on Big Sandy Road (0.5 miles south of Fish Camp), go 2.4 miles (three access sites). Bear left after crossing stream, continue 2.3 miles to Big Sandy Campground, go 1.5 miles farther to Little Sandy Campground, then go 1 mile more to Fresno Dome. |

| BRANDY CREEK | From Redding, on Hwy I-5, take Hwy 299 W, go 10 miles to Whiskeytown Lake Visitor Center. Turn south, continue 4 miles around south shore to Brandy Creek campground. |
| BUCKEYE CREEK | From Bridgeport, on Hwy 395, take Twin Lakes Road west to Doc and Al’s pack station. Turn north on dirt road 2.5 miles to Buckeye Creek, road follows creek upstream. |
| BULL CREEK | From Coulterville, at junction Hwy’s 49-132, take Greeley Hill Road east (Road J-20), go 10 miles Bear south (leave Road J-20, it turns N), go 8 miles staying on Greeley Hill Road, near Bower Cave road name changes to Bull Creek Road (Road 2505.1). Turn east, at Bull Creek crossing, onto Road 2502.4 toward Anderson Flat. |
| BURNEY CREEK (Lower) | From Burney, on Hwy 299, go east 5 miles. Turn north on Hwy 89, go 6 miles to Burney Falls State Park. |
| BURNEY CREEK (Upper) | From Burney, on Hwy 299, go west 1 mile Turn south on Tamarack Road , go 2.8 miles, several access roads fork to R to reach creek. |
| BUTTE CREEK | From Weed, on Hwy I-5, take Hwy 97 NE, go 27 miles to Bray-Tennant turnoff. Turn south, go 2.5 miles to Deer Mountain Road. Turn southeast, go 0.5 miles Stream flows parallel to and about 100 yards east of road next 2 miles upstream, also goes under Tennant Road on downstream journey to Orr Lake. |
| CARSON RIVER, EAST FORK | From Meyers, at junction Hwy’s 50-89, take Hwy 89 S, go 11 miles to junction of Hwy’s 88-89. Turn east, go 6 miles to Woodfords. Turn south, go 8 miles on Hwy 89 (past Markleeville) to Hangman’s Bridge. Access sites along highway upstream to Wolf Creek. |
| CARSON RIVER, EAST FORK (Lower) | From Meyers, at junction Hwy’s 50-89, take Hwy 89 S, go 11 miles to junction of Hwy’s 88-89. Turn east, go 6 miles to Woodfords. Turn south, go 8 miles on Hwy 89 (past Markleeville) to Hangman’s Bridge. Park near bridge. Access to trail on jeep road behind locked gate, on downstream side of highway. Other access trails off Road. To Indian Creek Reservoir. |
| CARSON RIVER, EAST FORK (Upper) | From Meyers, at junction Hwy’s 50-89, take Hwy 89 S, go 11 miles to junction of Hwy’s 88-89. Turn east, go 6 miles to Woodfords. Turn south, go 12 miles on Hwy 89 (past Markleeville) to junction with Hwy 4. Continue straight on Hwy 4 for 3 miles, to Wolf Creek Road. Turn left (dirt road, crosses Silver Creek bridge), go 2.5 miles to mouth of Wolf Creek. Hike upstream from here. Other access trails from Wolf Creek and Silver King Creek drainages. |
| CARSON RIVER, WEST FORK | From Meyers, at junction Hwy’s 50-89, take Hwy 89 S, go 11
miles to junction of Hwy’s 88-89. [1] Turn east on Hwy 88-89, go downstream to Woodfords, or [2] west on Hwy 88, go upstream through Hope Valley. Take Blue Lakes Road. To upper reaches. |
| CHIQUITO CREEK | (559) 243-4005 From Fresno, on Hwy 99, take Hwy 41 N, go
28 miles to Road 200 (North Fork turnoff). Turn east, go 19 miles to North
Fork. [1] Turn east, go through town of South Fork, continue 36 miles (past Fish & Rock creeks) on Mammoth Pool Road (Minarets Road, Forest Road 81), road crosses West Fork Chiquito Creek. [2] Continue 3.5 miles to Chiquito Creek crossing, go past creek 0.5 miles to junction USFS Road 6S25. Turn south on Road 6S25 to camps along creek, stream flows into Mammoth Pool Reservoir. |
| CHIQUITO CREEK, WEST FORK | From Fresno, on Hwy 99, take Hwy 41 N, go 28 miles to Road

Hwy 89, go 5 miles to Clark Creek Road: [1] Turn northwest, follow road across dam, and 1 mile past “5 Corners” to Clark Creek. [2] At “5 Corners” take 2nd. road left up hill away from lake, continue 3 miles to Rock Creek. |
| CLAVEY RIVER | From Long Barn, on Hwy 108, turn east on Forest Road 31 (USFS Road 3N01), go 17.5 miles to river. Other crossings: USFS Road 1N01 and USFS Road 1N04 (Cottonwood Road-Forest Road 14). Few trails lead to stream. |
| CLEAR CREEK | From Westwood, near Lake Almanor, on Hwy 36, take Road A-21 west, go 2 miles to community of Clear Creek (near Lake Almanor). |
| CLEAR CREEK (above Whiskeytown Lake) | From Redding, on Hwy I-5, take Hwy 299 west, go 14 miles to French Gulch turnoff. Turn north, go 2 miles to town of French Gulch, stream flows through town 6 miles northwest of Whiskeytown Lake. |
| CLOVER CREEK | From Shingletown, on Hwy 44, go west 3 miles to Ponderosa Way . Turn north, go 1.5 miles to Withrow Road (Inwood Road). Turn left, go 0.5 miles to Ponderosa Way. Turn right, go 11.3 miles to Whitmore Road (at CDF Station). Turn east (right), go 0.5 miles to Fern Road east. Turn north (left), go 7.4 miles to “Oak Run to Fern Road”. Turn right, go 0.2 miles to large culvert, Clover Creek crossing. |
| COLD CREEK | From Hwy I-5, take Central Mt. Shasta exit, go west to Old Stage Road. (Stop sign across from entry to Mt. Shasta Fish Hatchery). Turn south, go to fork, bear right on W.A. Barr Road Creek runs along south side of road. |
| CONVICT CREEK | From Bishop, on Hwy 395, go north 34 miles to Convict Lake Road (across from airport). Turn west, go 2 miles to resort and lake. |
| COSUMNES RIVER, MIDDLE FORK (Pi Pi) | From Jackson, at junction Hwy’s 49-88, take Hwy 88 E, go 26 miles to Omo Ranch Road (just before Cooks Station). Turn northwest, go 0.8 miles. Turn north on Pi Pi Road (North-South Road), go 5 miles to Pi Pi Valley campground. |
| COTTONWOOD CREEK (Lone Pine Lower) | From Lone Pine, on Hwy 395, go south about 10 miles to the Cottonwood Power House turn-off. Turn west, cross the Los Angeles Aqueduct, go into the canyon to the end of the gravel road. |
| COTTONWOOD CREEK (Lone Pine Upper) | From Lone Pine, on Hwy 395, take Whitney Portal Road west, go 3 miles to Horseshoe Meadow Road. Turn south, go 16 miles (climbing 6,000 ft. in elevation) to stream, road parallels stream to trailhead. |
| COW CREEK NORTH | From Redding, on Hwy I-5, take Hwy 299 E, go 16 miles to Ingot. Stream flows along south side of highway. |
| COW CREEK SOUTH | From Shingletown, on Hwy 44, go west 3 miles to Ponderosa Way . Turn north, go 1.5 miles to Withrow Road (Inwood Road). Turn left, go 0.5
miles to Ponderosa Way. [1] Turn right, go 8 miles to bridge over creek. [2] Stay on Whitmore Road. To “Y.” Take right fork on Bateman Road, go 2 miles. Turn south (right) on dirt road, go 0.5 miles to creek. |

| DEER CREEK | From junction Hwy’s 32-36, west of Chester, take Hwy 32 southwest, go 1 mile, follow road downstream down next several miles. |
| DIGGER CREEK | From junction Hwy’s 36-99, 3 miles east of Red Bluff, take Hwy 36 NE, go 11 miles to Dales Station. Turn northeast on County Road A-6, go 16 miles to Manton. From Manton take Forward Road 5 miles to Forwards Mill Road, go to creek just beyond where pavement ends. Or stop along the way at bridge on Ponderosa Way. |
| DINKEY CREEK | From Fresno, on Hwy 99, take Hwy 168 E, go 51 miles to Dinkey Creek Road (just before Shaver Lake). Turn east, go 12 miles to creek. |

| FEATHER RIVER, MIDDLE FORK | From Quincy, three approaches: [1] Take Hwy 70 E, go 13 miles to Sloat. Turn right, follow road by railroad yard and cross bridge. [2] Take Hwy 70 E through east Quincy to far edge of town. Turn south (right) on La Porte Road, continue 11.5 miles to Feather River, MF, bridge crossing. [3] From Oroville, on Hwy 70, take Oro Dam Blvd. east, go 2.5 miles to Olive Hwy. Turn right, go east 5.5 miles to Oroville-Quincy Hwy. Turn north, go 18.5 miles, pass Berry Creek to Brush Creek. Turn right, go 0.3 miles, then turn left onto Milsap Bar Road (about 8 miles of steep, narrow road into canyon). |
| FEATHER RIVER, NORTH FORK (Almanor) | From Chester, on Hwy 36, turn northwest on Feather River Drive (by Chester Fire Dept.), stay left toward Drakesbad, go 1.3 miles to fishing access behind Collins Pine Lumber Co., other access sites along Collins Pine road next 6 miles to High Bridge Campground. |
| FEATHER RIVER, NORTH FORK (Belden) | From Quincy, on Hwy 70-89, take Hwy 70 W, go 27 miles to Caribou Road (2 miles east of Belden). Turn north to creek. |

200 (North Fork turnoff). Turn east, go 19 miles to North Fork. [1] Turn east, go through town of South Fork, continue east 19 miles on Mammoth Pool Road (Minarets Road, USFS Route 81) to Fish Creek. [2] Continue 3.8 miles farther to Rock Creek. |
| GEORGES CREEK | From Lone Pine, on Hwy 395, go north 7 miles At 0.2 miles past the Los Angeles Aqueduct Crossing, turn south on a small, dusty road, drive to sand trap on creek. |
| GLASS CREEK | From Bishop, on Hwy 395, go north 46 miles to Deadman Creek Road (just past Owens River Road): [1] Turn west, go 3 miles, over graded dirt road, to campground. [2] Continue on Hwy 395 0.4 miles to Glass Creek Road. Turn west, go 0.2 miles into the pines. |
| GOODALE CREEK | From Independence, on Hwy 395, go north 13 miles to Goodale Creek Road. Turn west, go about 2 miles (past old Hwy 395 at Aberdeen), to creek. |

| GRANITE CREEK | From Fresno, on Hwy 99, take Hwy 41 N, go 28 miles to Road 200 (North Fork turnoff). Turn east, go 19 miles to North Fork. Turn east, go through town of South Fork, continue 40 miles (past Fish & Rock creeks) on Mammoth Pool Road (Minarets Road, Forest Road 81), road crosses WF Chiquito Creek. Then crosses Chiquito Creek to junction of Road 6S25. Bear northeast (left), continue 10 miles to campground sign. Turn right, go 6 miles to campground/stream. |
| GREEN CREEK | From Bridgeport, on Hwy 395, go south 5 miles to Green Lakes Road. Turn southwest, go 6 miles to creek. |
| GURNSEY CREEK | From Hwy 36-89, halfway between Chester and Mineral, stream flows along highway just west of junction Hwy 32. |
| HAMILTON BRANCH (Creek) | From Chester, on Hwy 36, go east 10 miles to Hwy 142.
Turn south, go 0.7 miles to intersection. Two approaches: [1] Turn west on Hwy 147, go 1 mile west of Clear Creek. Turn left on dirt road, cross RR track. Go 0.2 miles to Y. Stream is just beyond. [2] Turn east on County Road A21, go 0.1 miles. Turn south on dirt road, 1.6 miles to stream. |
| HAT CREEK | From Burney, on Hwy 299, go east 9 miles to crossing. [1] Downstream access along northwest side to Lake Britton. [2] Upstream access, go 0.2 miles back toward Burney Road on south side of Hwy 299, to Hat Creek Powerhouse #2. |
| HAT CREEK (Middle) | From Burney, on Hwy 299, go east 8 miles (past Hwy 89
junction). Turn south toward Cassel/Crystal Lake Hatchery, go 2 miles to
hatchery turnoff. [1] Turn east, go 1 mile to lake. [2] Continue on Cassel Road 1 mile to Hat Creek crossing at Cassel. Turn left on dirt road, just before canal, for access downstream toward lake. |
| HAT CREEK (Upper) | From Old Station, near Lassen Park at junction Hwy’s 44-89, turn north or south on Hwy 89. Stream flows N, from Lassen National Park, along Hwy 89. |
| HERRING CREEK | From Strawberry, on Hwy 108, go east 2 miles, [1] Turn right on Herring Creek Road (USFS Road 4N12), go northeast 7 miles, at “Y”, bear right to stream and campground. [2] From campground continue east 1 mile to reservoir. |
| HOT CREEK | From Hwy 395, 3.5 miles south of Mammoth Lakes turnoff (Hwy 203), turn east on Hot Creek Road, go past airport toward fish hatchery. Turn right before cattleguard, go 2.3 to 3.0 miles Passable dirt road with parking areas at stream side, footpaths to stream. |
| INDEPENDENCE CREEK | In Independence, on Hwy 395, turn west on Onion Valley Road (at the Post Office). Several access sites next 6 miles, upstream to crossing above Seven Pines. |
| JAMISON CREEK | From Graeagle, on Hwy 89, take Graeagle-Johnsville Road (A-14), go northwest 5 miles to Plumas Eureka State Park in Johnsville. |
| KAWEAH RIVER, MARBLE FORK | From Visalia, on Hwy 198, go east 35 miles, go along Kaweah Lake shore through Three Rivers to Sequoia National Park. In park go toward Giant Forest, about 15 miles (a steep climb, many switchbacks). Turn north toward Crystal Cave, go 2 miles, parking on north side of river. |

| TABOOSE CREEK | From Independence on Hwy 395, go north 14 miles to Aberdeen Station Road (Taboose Creek Road on west). Turn west, go 1 mile to campground, creek is beyond here through gate. |
| TAMARACK CREEK | From Fresno, on Hwy 99, take Hwy 168 E, go 52 miles (past Dinkey Creek Road and Shaver Lake), continue 20 miles, over Tamarack Ridge, to stream. Access at several sites and at lodge. Road goes on to Huntington Lake and over Kaiser Pass. |
| TENMILE CREEK | From Fresno, on Hwy 99, take Hwy 180, go east 52 miles to entrance to Kings Canyon National Park, continue 1.7 miles to fork at STOP (Generals Highway). Turn east, go 3.5 miles to Quail Flat Road. Turn north, go 5 miles to Bearskin Creek turnoff and Horseshoe Flats campground (Tenmile Creek). Turn west, go 0.5 miles to Bearskin Creek. |
| TINNEMAHA CREEK | From Big Pine on Hwy 395, go 5 miles south to Fish Springs Road. Turn southwest, 2 miles to fork. Bear west 0.5 miles on Griffith Road . To Tinnemaha Road. Take Tinnemaha Road 1.5 miles, around curve along creek to campground. Take dirt roads for about 2 miles access above campground. |

| WAGON CREEK | From Hwy I-5, take Central Mt. Shasta exit, go west to Old Stage Road (Stop sign across from entry to Mt. Shasta Fish Hatchery). Turn south, go to fork, bear right on W.A. Barr Road past STOP. Turn right next road (North Fork Road). Go to culvert crossing. Fish downstream to Lake Siskiyou. |

Turn west, (continue straight at County Road 208-Humboldt Road), go 2 miles, cross Butt Creek, then go 5.5 miles to Humbug Meadow. Turn left to PG&E campground. Rough dirt roads, watch for log trucks. |
