Blogitus, ergo sum.¹

Why?

Why not?

Perhaps because the idea that one cannot offer something new and enjoyable for others is an unreasonable thing for anyone to think.

People like to hear what others think. People like opinions. People like to learn.

Write with passion while not taking oneself too seriously and everything else will fall into place. Make it fun and everyone might enjoy reading about fly fishing or motorcycles or my father’s predilection for uprooting small animals and moving them to parts unknown. (We assume they’re just moved…the cage comes back empty.)

Other might argue that blogs let people develop shallow relationships. But who can’t benefit from knowing more people or other’s thoughts. This will be like a diary — a historical record of thoughts and experiences over moments in time.
